Day 1: The Spiritual Ascent | Haridwar to Guptkashi Your pilgrimage begins with a scenic climb from the plains of Haridwar into the heart of the Garhwal Himalayas. This day is defined by the mesmerizing sights of holy river confluences and the transition into high-altitude serenity.

Drive Time: 8–9 hours (depending on road conditions and mountain traffic)
Route: Haridwar → Rishikesh → Devprayag → Rudraprayag → Guptkashi
Major Highlights & Landmarks:-
The Sangam Points (Holy Confluences):
Devprayag: This is one of the most significant stops on your journey. You will witness the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers merge to officially form the Holy Ganges. The distinct colors of the two rivers meeting is a photographer's delight.
Rudraprayag: Further up, observe the junction of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. The town is named after Lord Shiva (Rudra) and offers a powerful sense of tranquility.
Mountain Landscapes: As you leave Rishikesh behind, the road winds through lush green valleys, offering panoramic views of the Shivalik range and deep river gorges.
Guptkashi (The "Hidden Kashi"): According to mythology, Lord Shiva hid here to elude the Pandavas. Upon arrival, you will visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple, dedicated to the half-male, half-female form of Shiva and Parvati. The temple complex also houses the ancient Vishwanath Temple.
Day 2: Guptkashi – Kedarnath – Return After an early breakfast, drive approximately 30 km from Guptkashi to Gaurikund, the starting point of the Kedarnath trek. From here, begin the 14 km ascent to Kedarnath. You can choose to trek, hire a pony/palki, or opt for helicopter services (advance booking is advised).
Upon arrival, visit the sacred Kedarnath Temple for evening darshan and soak in the serene Himalayan surroundings. After darshan, return to Guptkashi for an overnight stay, concluding a spiritually fulfilling and physically enriching day.
Day 3: Guptkashi to Badrinath

Begin your journey from Guptkashi towards Badrinath via Joshimath, passing through picturesque Himalayan landscapes, river valleys, and winding mountain roads. On arrival, check in and proceed for evening darshan at the sacred Badrinath Temple. Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Day 4: Badrinath to Rudraprayag
